cdschroer Posted August 2, 2022 Report Share Posted August 2, 2022 Hello! the final release of version 1.0.0 of the Digital Lab Notebook is available for download from the CHI website: https://culturalheritageimaging.org/What_We_Offer/Downloads/DLN Both Mac and Windows versions are available along with a detailed User Guide. There are also installation instructions for each platform, and sample data. The DLN is an integrated tool that includes a Postgres Database (the DLN installs a private copy of Postgres - so it will not interfere with any other version you might be using), as well as the DLN inspector tool which was previously a separate application. There are many new features, most notably support for creating metadata about your workflows and processing steps and an integrated archiver tool for creating Submission Information Packages of your image, work products and Metadata. The Archiver also creates multiple metadata formats. Check out the guide - or watch the introductory video to learn more.
