caseycameron
CHI Director Carla Schroer will present a short course and a paper at the IS&T Archiving conference in Riga, Latvia in May. In the short course (May 15), she will offer a condensed overview of computational photography and its application to cultural heritage, describing techniques that are being applied to a variety of art objects and other examples of material culture. There are no prerequisites — anyone from novice to expert is welcome. In the talk (May 17), she will present the first module of an advanced set of metadata and knowledge management tools to record a “Digital Lab Notebook” (DLN), the equivalent of the traditional scientist’s lab notebook.
