Alex Hollmann
I am involved in the Magica Levantina project, which is a project to decipher and publish a number of Ancient Greek magical texts, mainly inscribed on lead, found in various locations in the Levant and dating from 1st to 6th c. CE. Forum member kathrynpiquette has posted on this project and has photographed many of the artifacts using RTI. I am seeking assistance in rephotographing one of the artifacts (a curse tablet from the hippodrome in Antioch) held by the Princeton Art Museum. It turns out that we need more detail and we would like to photograph the object at a much closer distance. Does anybody know of someone in the Princeton NJ area who would be able to do this for us? Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
