enkidu
Hi, I'm trying to get a normalmap of my RTIs with the highest possible resolution. Is there a way of taking full resolution screenshots in the RTIViewer? I mean without having to manually stitch together detail shots? Best regards, Tom
cdschroer
Tom, You can make "screen shots" at the full resolution of the underlying data in the RTiViewer. If you are zoomed in, the screenshot button will produce an image of only the area you are zoomed into (at it's fully available resolution) If you want the whole image, then zoom out so that the whole image is visible, then make the screenshot. A screenshot of the normals visualization, will give you a normal field. The normal fields are much more accurate for shadowed and shiny areas with HSH based RTIs rather than PTM. See a discussion about that here: http://forums.culturalheritageimaging.org/index.php?/topic/190-hsh-or-ptm-how-to-choose-the-best-fitter/
