Hey @Michael Tetzlaff,

I've noticed that I've gotten some artifacts in my textures from the presence of the color checker. Is that from us placing the color checker incorrectly? We've just been placing it directly in front of the object, usually trying to touch the surface if possible.

Here's some images to show you what I mean.

Hi Dale -- typically, we just remove that one from the dataset (disable it in Metashape or Reality Capture) before importing / processing in Kintsugi 3D Builder.  For the primary view, you can just select one that is similar to the view that had the Color Checker (we are also working on a better method of handling the reference view for the Color Checker).

At some point in the future, maybe we will have a way to disable the photo in Kintsugi directly -- but for now, it needs to be done before importing.

Ah, that's so obvious in hindsight. Apologies in advance as I may have a lot of similarly obvious questions and realizations as get more experience with Kintsugi!
