Umlauts in folder names on Mac

Recommended Posts

Apologies if this is in the wrong place. I will move it if you suggest a more correct location .

Have just spent a fair amount of time trying to work out why a file was not opening on my Mac running sys 10.12. It turns out that when the folder name has an umlaut in it, RTIviewer says the file format is wrong, but when one removes the umlaut, it opens fine.

Is this something of which developers are aware?

Thanks...

Thanks for reporting this!  I wasn't aware of it, and don't think it has been reported before. We don't have any plans for updates to the viewer in the short term, but we will put this on the list for the next time we do updates.
